Once again this year, on the 7th of November, maintaining our Value of Caring and looking after others, our Year 10 students were able to show their support and commitment to the fight against Cancer. It is an honour for the School to announce that after counting all the monies received from Sponsors, we have exceeded all expectations by collecting 21,248 euros from our “Every Step you Take” race. All monies will be put towards the Olivia Roddom Oncology Research Grant (BIOOR).

Students arrived on time and were very motivated to take part in a fun-filled Charity day where they were able to face an important challenge with great determination for students so young. Funds were being raised for every lap completed and the students put all their effort into it. This kind of total commitment is proof, once again, that “caring”, is one of the School´s most important Values. We try to install this in School assemblies and in the talks which teachers and tutors provide. It is something which is very deeply rooted in our students.

We would like to thank teachers and the rest of the staff involved for making sure that the race was a total success. Most specially, our appreciation goes to Marta Bautista, our Primary PE TLL.

Thank you to everyone and congratulations on your hardwork, effort and commitment!
