Alice: “This is Impossible”.
The Mad Hatter: “Only if you believe it is”.
Just like for the Mad Hatter in the unforgettable novel Alice in Wonderland, nothing is impossible for our Year 8 students. They demonstrated this throughout the year as they prepared this theatrical adaptation of the amazing Lewis Carrol novel. First published in 1865, it continues to fascinate both young and old.
Always under the watchful eye and direction of our teacher, Holly Crook, our students worked hard, from beginning to end, through the whole year. There was total commitment in all areas of the production (acting, lighting, costumes and set design). The result was a really professional job, very high quality and a total success.
At the end of the academic year, we have also had to wave goodbye to Alice in Wonderland. But not without sending our most sincere congratulations to the students in Year 8, as well as all the staff enthusiastically helping Ms Crook.
The whole School can be very proud of their efforts throughout the year. That´s why we must thank all the students, teachers, and indeed Alice for getting lost in Wonderland and helping us all to continue to dream...
