Bringing books closer to children and getting them to read from an early age not only stimulates intellectual development, but also their imagination, creativity and their ability to concentrate and pay attention.
The School is very conscious of how important books are for our children and we realise the need to awaken their interest from an early age. On the 19th and 20th of December, we organised our latest Early Years Book Fair.
Again this year, the little children had a great time visiting the Fair with their teachers and friends. And they were also able to go with their parents too, because it went on after School had ended. Finishing at 6 o´clock, parents were able to go and buy the best books in English for their childrens´age-group and level. They were able to find that special book, the one they had been looking for, for a while. Or perhaps one of the latest books published.
This has been a great opportunity for parents to choose books for their children to read over the Christmas holidays.
