We are finishing November with some great news, and the satisfaction of reaping all the rewards around the hard work, dedication and love invested in developing our students. The acknowledgement comes by way of some excellent results which have been achieved by our students, both in the new University Entrance Exams (EvaU) and in the IGCSE´s. This goes to prove their ability to successfully tackle exams in both Spanish and British education systems and also reflects the opportunities they have to get into some of the best universities in the world.
Two of our schoolgirls have been awarded the 2017 Complutense University Prize for coming in the top 100 scores in the new university entrance exam (EvaU). Our most sincere congratulations to Victoria, who is now studying E4 in ICADE and also to Aitana, who is studying Neuroscience and Medicine at UCLA. Both of them are brilliant students who continue to work towards a successful professional career.
In fact, these prizes represent the fruits reaped from seeds sown throughout all the stages in education. They are not only the result of something momentary, but also as a consequence of the level of education received through the School and a reflection of the its´ quality. That´s why, for yet another year, Madrid´s Complutense University has acknowledged the “excellent work in education” carried out by the British Council School with an Honourable Mention awarded for its students´ results.
Our students have also shone in getting the best IGCSE results possible. Congratulations to Paula for achieving Top in the World in Spanish Literature IGCSE, and Top in Spain in History IGCSE. Congratulations also, to Manuela, for her Top in the World in Spanish Language IGCSE.
We are all extremely proud. Our most sincere congratulations to them as well as to all the teaching staff who have taught them through all these years at our School. Very well done!
