Grow with Music

152 Students, 166 certificates and a tonne of applause at what was a formal and exciting ceremony.

On yet another year, the British Council School got dressed up in order to celebrate the Music21 Certificate Awards. The event took place on the 24th of October, and our students from both Primary and Secondary got on stage to pick up their awards in recognition of their marks and their achievements over the last academic year.

Held at the British Council School Theatre, the level of instrumental prowess was applauded and cheered. This was an event which will clearly help to motivate them, through their future musical development.

The event was led by Mercedes Hernández Estrada (who will take over as Headmistress at the School, in the next 2018/2019 academic year); Mr Norman Roddom, Deputy Head British Council School; Mr Elías Azquinezer, Representative for ABRSM in Spain and Mr Eric Peters, Music and Performance Leader.
