The BIOOR Spring Fair is by now a classic School event. Our latest BIOOR Spring Fair took place on Saturday, the 26th of May. We had the support and attendance of many volunteers and helpers. They make it possible for us to support cancer research and to continue to provide BIOOR grant funding through the Science Foundation of the AECC. This year's Fair broke a new record, collecting 17.700 euros.
This year, we also had the Monsters Trucks designed by our students from Year 12. They really enjoyed what was an incredibly exciting race, with some brutal looking racing cars, just right for clearing obstacles and going off-road. Dr Alejo Efeyán from the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas and the current holder of the BIOOR grant for cancer research was also at the event. He hosted our Race Le Mans Monsters Jam.
Over the last 16 years of charitable support for BIOOR, we have raised more than 400.000€.
