The trees in my street
Are turning golden brown
The Autumn from yester year,
Has returned to paint them so

Autumn is here! Days are shorter, there is a cold chill in the wind, new smells and new colours, oranges, browns and yellows dominate our landscape. The leaves fall from the trees and fly around in the wind, which is now much stronger and colder. Everyone gets their scarves out, of course. And everyone enjoys the fresh autumn air, playing with leaves and feeling the crisp autumn cold on their cheeks...

The youngest at School went out on a very special trip. They went to learn about the natural surroundings around the Escorial, to recognize the trees there, to pick up leaves and to look for fruits...

In the heart of the Guadarrama mountain range, the natural environment surrounding this town, has many beautiful, hidden treasures such as the Herrería and the Pinar de Abantos. Its valuable nature and exceptional characteristics delighted the children who were able to have an unforgettable rendezvous with Nature and Autumn.
