In what was an emotive ceremony, a large group of our Year 13 students were confirmed by the Episcopal Vicar, Monsenior 7th Vicar Gil González Hernán, at the local church of Anunciación de Nuestra Señora in Pozuelo de Alarcón. The Headmistress, Mercedes Hernández Estrada and our Head of Secondary, Pamela O´Brien attended the ceremony which took place on Saturday, the 26th of January.

All the students were prepared at School by our local Vicar, Don José María Asenjo Sanz, who addressed all those present, especially all the parents, with his kind words: “We give Thanks to God with this Holy Mass, because sometimes it feels that we are not getting it right and we do not know what to do. Today we can look at our children and see that the seed has grown and that it is now ready to bear fruit”.

Music is part of our student´s day to day, from when they first join the School. On this important occasion also, we had musical accompaniment from some of our violin students. They showed off their talents, directed by our cello teacher Lucía García, and were accompanied on the organ, by our piano teacher and Music and Performance Leader, Marek Dabrowski.
