Feeling hot and looking forward to the holidays! After a whole year learning many new things and some of the children starting with English, for the very first time, it is now time, to say goodbye, until next year. The youngest students at the School have spent the last few days singing and dancing in front of parents and teachers at the Prenursery Summer Concerts.

From the 3rd of June until the end of term, Music and Dance have been the main activities in our classrooms, because there is really, no more enjoyable, way to learn. In the academic programme, Music comes under the section of “Creative Development”, which is one of the 7 areas in the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

The School also promotes acting as an important part of the academic programme because it helps to develop memory, fluency, creativity and teamwork. Our students also gain in self-confidence and grow in terms of their own self worth, putting to one side any feelings of shyness and stage fright. You have to start from the very first day of School.

Our youngest students delighted us with a great musical programme at the Prenursery Summer Concerts: Hello Song; Warm up to 1.2 buckle my shoe; We’re going on a Bear Hunt; Incy Wincy Spider; Row, row, row your boat; Scarecrow song; Little Red Riding Hood; The snowman poem; Brown bear spring; 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed; SkinnaMarinki; and Bye bye Spanish Song.
