Premio Duperier

Our Secondary students have yet again exceeded expectations with the tremendous quality and passion invested in the research projects presented at the 2018 Duperier Science Prize. This year, the six finalists provided a real challenge for the judges who had to choose three winners from the 12 magnificent research projects put forward. This  is further proof that we are helping to grow a brilliant group of future scientists in Spain. This is our brand new roster for the 2018 Duperier Science Prize;

1st  “Effect of microwave radiation of eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells

2nd “Does caffeine improve long term academic performance?”

3rd  “Effects of frequency variation on viscosity of Newtonian liquids”

At the School, we want our students to be able to learn independently; we want them to have a thirst for knowledge; we want them to investigate, discover and compare. And more importantly, we want them to reach their own conclusions. This is the purpose of the Duperier Science Prize.

The Prize winners get 50% off the registration fee for the prestigious London International Youth Science Forum. This is organised by Imperial College in London, and is an event which lasts 2 weeks and which has an important reputation amongst scientists.

This year, the level has been exceptionally high and we want to offer our most sincere congratulations to the winners, the finalists and all the partcipants. We would also like to express our gratitude to all the Science teachers for giving our BiBac® students, this amazing opportunity to get Science out of the classroom and into the real world, at the highest level.
