Aladdin

Pantomime is a common form of theatrical entertainment in England, usually during the Christmas period. A Pantomime is usually a musical adaptation of a fairy story by changing the story but keeping the various characters who perform songs, dances, tell jokes, etc.

Our KS2 Primary students, in their Family groups, have performed Aladdin Trouble (Aladd-in-trouble). This is the story of Aladdin and the enchanted lamp which was brought to the stage by our students who performed songs, dances and gave an excellent demonstration of their theatrical skills, on am almost mini Broadway level. Hooray!
