Although Saint Valentine's Day is traditionally connected to those in love, its celebration is extending out as a day of love and friendship. And, at our School, this also goes as far as solidarity.
Our Secondary students took advantage of this beautiful tradition to dote on some of their colleagues and at the same time to colaborate in raising funds for BIOOR, the oncology grant which the British Council School funds.
This is why, for a period of two weeks prior to the 14th of February, at break times, it was possible to purchase, for just 2 euros, flowers and bags of sweets with little gift cards, anonymous or not, with the name of the intended recipient. All the monies raised will go to the Association for Volunteering, Citizenship and Solidarity for BCS-BIOOR. And, as on previous occasions, our students were totally involved with the event.
What a better way to celebrate love and friendship, than by helping others!
