Our Year 10 and Year 11 students took part in a Family Day, as much fun, as it was unusual. The whole school day was turned into a Marketing Workshop, where they learnt the key principles of how to launch a new product.

After a theory session about the 4P's, brands and branding, market research and target customers, etc., our students moved onto Coding, making the product itself. At the BIOOR Christmas Fair, we will be able to buy a DVD with a compilation of cartoon videos based on stories written by the children themselves, as part of their Spanish Language course. The film animation sequences (script, character development, staging, movement, music...) were supervised by their Robotics teachers, using the computer programme Scratch.

To complete the session, there was a design layout class with practical examples, so the students could create the DVD cover for the story based films. It's a sure thing, that a Sold Out sign will go up!
