Nothing better than to go off on Chrismas holidays with the satisfaction of having won several football tournaments. The British Council School closes this first term with victories for our youngsters' side and also the sides from Secondary, who played some of their best football against other international schools.
We are especially proud and happy about our youngsters' side who, after 3 years of bitter disapointment and having previously lost out in the final, either losing in extra-time or on penalties, they at last managed to beat Kensington. And by no small margin either. Our kids put an end to their run of bad luck against their most feared rivals and won by 4 goals to nil. Really, very well done for never giving up. If you fight hard, you will win through.
And we also have cause to celebrate victories for our football teams from Secondary who finished first and second in the 7-a-side tournament for international schools, in which 10 sides took part. The championship was sealed off with a superb exhibtion of clean football with some great goals from our students. Congratulations to everyone, on your great triumph and on your exemplary behaviour!
