Asamblea

We said goodbye to February with a very special assembly. On the 28th, the parents of Nursery D children, were able to attend the open Show & Tell, in which their little children, together with the rest of the students in their “School Family”, got together at assembly and explained some of the things they had been learning in class.

These type of assemblies take part every week and they allow children, from a very early age, to begin to develop skills such as public speaking which will be so important to them in the future. From their first years at School, they can begin to lose the fear of speaking fluently and clearly in public, in front of an audience.

Thanks to the system of organisation in Families, an area in which the British Council School has been a pioneer, children get used to different environments and mix with other students between 3 and 17 years old. This is a way of developing caring relationships and support between the older and smaller children. This system also guarantees a holistic development in students, re-inforcing their own feelings of personal self-esteem as well as a sense of belonging to a group.
